- US and international speakers and vendors who are orchid experts speak on orchid growing and culture, and often discount orchids they bring for sale.
- Local growers give advice and occasional talks. Growing here in the desert is different so learn from people growing here!
- Our fun and energetic auction every November, and a holiday potluck in December.
- Our annual show and sale every March.
- Our monthly “Show & Tell” where members show off their blooming orchids and share growing secrets.
Some of our local growers share their growing tips and expertise in the lazy months of summer, and teach us the basics of repotting, dividing orchids, growing indoors versus outdoors, etc. If you think about it, you can’t get 3 cups of fancy coffee for under $20.
