Orchid show March 7-8, 2026 Orchid show and plant sale at Mesquite Valley Growers. There are orchid displays, judging by accredited American Orchid Society judges, informal judging by our members, scrambling to buy desirable plants, and lots of great conversations with visitors about orchids. Our next orchid show and sale will be on March 7 and 8, 2026 at Mesquite Valley Growers Nursery. It is free and open to the public. We had another great show this year, thank you to everyone that attended! There were lots of member displays, great plants for sale and we had a fabulous time talking orchids. We\u2019d also like to thank Mesquite Valley Growers for lending us space in their greenhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AOS regional judging on Nov. 18, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had an outstanding 8 awarded plants at the November 2023 regional judging in Phoenix. Wes A. earned six of them with an incredible 3 FCC\u2019s, 1 HCC and 2 AM \u2018s. As Wes put it, it was a once in a lifetime event for a small grower. Way to go Wes! And also a big hand to Eric W. and Karla V., who each received an AM\/AOS award. We had a fantastic orchid show this year! There were lots of members displays, great plants for sale and excellent conversations with fellow orchid growers.<\/p>\n

We had eight American Orchid Society awards given for particularly fine orchids. The paired pictures show an official AOS close up of the flower and the other shows a bit more of the plant.<\/p>\n

Our March 2021 public orchid show was canceled due to Covid 19 so we decided to have a little fun with a virtual show instead. People created orchid displays at home over a several month period and submitted photos or video entries. Entry dates give the day the entry was photographed. There is no show sale this year.
